Don't let it all unravel
A film directed by Sarah Cox for the Live Earth concerts.The brief was Save our Selves and this film uses real knitted animation as a metaphor for how quickly global warming can unravel our delicate ecosystem. Produced by Sarah Jex for Aardman Animation. The music is the unadulterated recording in 1967 of two Burundi Girls singing ‘Akazehe par deux jeunes Filles’.

Hector and the gang of ghastly ghosts
Highly creepy stuffed creatures, very scary sportswear and one scary start walk to the school bus. Shivery! This is just one of a series of films adapted from Tom Percivals booklets which illustrate Road Safety for kids on the walk to and from school. These were commissioned by VCCP for Texaco and the resulting DVDs were handed out free at all Texaco Garages in the UK.

A Pig's Tail
Ginger comes from a large family with about 70 brothers and sisters and she is the brightest and most intelligent piglet of all. She can imagine a future for her family and her friends that is much nicer than the dark and smelly intensive Pig Farm where they all live. An exciting and dramatic escape secures a glimpse of freedom but first she has to save that idiotic farm hand and Big Mamma Pig.

Heavy Pockets is a film about a girl who loses her gravity. Initially embarrassed by this amazing gift, Awel Jones becomes isolated from the other kids at school, and only her sister is aware of her hidden talent.
Sarah is a frequent panel participant and juror at Film Festivals and events; as juror on the Pre Selection Committee for Annecy 2005, judge of the Film section of the Northern Design Awards 2010, Juror for Fantoche and Animated Encounters 2011. She was a speaker at the 2011 Festival of Ideas as part of the Bristol Genius series, a voting member of BAFTA and recently sat on the jury for the Short Animation Award 2014.
